Throw Back: Nichole Nordeman

Nichole Nordeman is one of my favorite female vocalists of all time. I first met Nichole around the time her first project, Wide Eyed, was released in 1998. In early 1999 she and I engaged in a friendly on-air wager over the Super Bowl. Her home-state Broncos were taking on the Falcons. Since I was working in Atlanta radio, I bet heavily on the birds. How heavily? Well if Nichole’s team won I would have to devote an entire day of my morning show to Nichole and her music. If the Falcons won Nichole would have had to come to Atlanta and co-host with me. Long story short, Nichole did not have to make the trip.

Here’s the video version of one of my favorite songs by Nichole, Legacy, from the 2002 project Woven & Spun.
