O Christmas Tree
I love the Christmas season; it’s one of only two seasons that I observe, the other being the baseball season. But as it drew to a close on New Year’s Eve I witnessed one of the saddest events of this otherwise cheerful time of year, the taking down of the Christmas tree at the JOY FM Atlanta offices.
What made this particular tree removal even more painful, it was an artificial tree and there were still needles left on the floor.
I’m not looking forward to the even gloomier activity of taking down the tree at my home.
