Throw Back: Jaci V

I started doing the Midday show at The JOY FM Atlanta back on April 7 and have been featuring a “Throwback Thursday” artist every week. It just occurred to me that these features would make for an interesting post, or at least some of them. Sort of interesting anyway. I hope.

So this week I throw it back to Jaci Velasquez. I first met Jaci when she was 16 and I was a lot closer to 16. She was one of those rare talents that had matured at a relatively early age.

She hasn’t had a radio single in years. At least not one that actually garnered much airplay. Too bad, I miss hearing her. Below is the video version of “On My Knees,” from the 1996 “Heavenly Place” CD. That was a huge project for Jaci, selling over 1 million copies.
