Annoyed At: Email Newsletters
It annoys me when…
I unsubscribe from an email newsletter and they send me an email to let me know I’ve been unsubscribed! Is that necessary? I’m not even sure how I got on this particular newsletter list. I sure don’t remember subscribing to it. After months of these things clogging up my inbox, I finally opened one and scrolled to the bottom of the message in search of that pesky “unsubscribe” button (not nearly enough of these newsletter include that feature). There it was though, way down at the bottom of the message. So I clicked on it and it took me to a webpage where I checked the “unsubscribe” box and clicked “submit.” Then I got the standard confirmation screen. And within minutes there was another email from the newsletter, telling me I had been unsubscribed. Now I’m hoping I don’t get future emails pleading with me to change my mind.
